When I was seven years old, Israel's PM was assassinated.

At the time, I loved watching the animated X-men series. They traveled back in time to prevent their leader's assassination and in doing so brought about the return of their desired reality.
This concept of being stuck in the wrong version of reality has stayed with me ever since.

Visual memories from the violent protests that incited Rabin's murder, mixed with the traditional uniform of the "first responders" inspired this collection - a fantasy of modern day heroes from a parallel reality where this tragedy never took place.
